The Desert Scavenger Costume Set is a full-coverage robe costume worn with a waist band, belt, arm and wrist guards, a holster and a length of bandage wrap. The main garment does the covering; everything else is the detail that makes it read as someone who has been surviving out there for a while rather than someone in a costume.
The construction mixes PU leather with satin and acrylic, so the guards, belt and holster hold their shape while the robe keeps enough movement to walk, sit and climb into a car in. The bandage wrap is yours to arrange — wrist, forearm or across the body — which means no two people wear it quite the same way. Sizes run XS through XXL on a women's fit, and the chart below lists bust, waist, hip and shoulder in US inches with a suggested height for each size.
It suits Halloween parties and costume contests, science-fiction and fantasy conventions, comic and film festivals, larp and stage work, and photo shoots. It layers over thermals without changing the silhouette, which makes it one of the more practical costumes here for an outdoor night. Boots finish it — scuffed and worn-in look better than new.
